Terms & Conditions
Last updated July 9, 2026
Welcome to Zip Zap Moving. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your engagement of our moving and related services. By using our site, requesting a quote, or booking a move, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
Zip Zap Moving ("Zip Zap," "we," "us," or "our") is a family-owned moving company based at 5900 S Lake Forest Dr, Ste 300 #35, McKinney, TX 75070, serving McKinney, Frisco, Plano, Allen and the greater Dallas–Fort Worth area. We are licensed and insured (US DOT #2482730 · TX DMV #006792463C).
2. Quotes & estimates
Any price shown through our online quote tool, by phone, or in writing is an estimate, not a final, binding price. Estimates are based on the information you provide (home size, inventory, distance, access, services requested) and typical conditions.
Your final price may differ based on the actual volume and weight of your items, access conditions (stairs, elevators, long carries, parking), distance, date, and services performed on move day. Receiving an estimate does not guarantee availability for your requested date — a coordinator must confirm scheduling. Online booking generally requires at least 48 hours' notice; shorter timeframes require coordinator approval even if a date appears open.
3. Booking, scheduling & cancellations
A move is confirmed only when a Zip Zap coordinator confirms your date and details. We ask that you notify us as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, safety, equipment, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control; in such cases we will work with you to find the next available date.
4. Pricing & payment
Charges are based on your selected pricing method (flat-rate or hourly) and the services performed. Additional services or conditions discovered on move day may affect the final total. Payment is due as agreed with your coordinator, typically upon completion of the move. We accept the payment methods communicated at booking.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information about your move, inventory, and locations.
- Ensure safe, legal access to both locations (parking, elevator reservations, gate/HOA access, etc.).
- Be present (or designate an authorized adult) at pickup and delivery.
- Properly prepare items not included in packing services and disclose any specialty or high-value items in advance.
6. Items we cannot move
For safety and legal reasons, we do not transport hazardous, flammable, perishable, illegal, or similarly restricted materials (including but not limited to fuels, propane, chemicals, ammunition, and plants). You are responsible for removing such items before your move.
7. Liability & valuation coverage
As an interstate/intrastate mover, our liability for loss or damage to your goods is governed by applicable federal and Texas law and the valuation coverage you select. Basic released-value protection is provided at no additional charge at the minimum level allowed by law, which is limited and may be substantially less than the actual value of your items. Additional valuation or third-party moving insurance may be available upon request. Details of available coverage will be provided before your move.
8. Claims
Any claim for loss or damage must be reported to us promptly and in writing, within the timeframe required by applicable law. Please retain damaged items and any packaging until your claim is resolved. Contact us at info@zipzapmoving.com to begin a claim.
9. Website use & intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and the Zip Zap Moving name and marks — is owned by or licensed to Zip Zap Moving and protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content or marks without our written permission. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
10. Disclaimers
Our website and quote tools are provided "as is" and "as available." Estimates and calculators are for planning purposes and may contain errors or produce inaccurate results. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zip Zap Moving is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our liability for the moving services themselves is limited as described in Section 7 and by applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zip Zap Moving and its team from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, your provision of inaccurate information, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Your continued use of our site or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
